Sandy Oasis

I may be the only one that feels this way, but what is it about the ocean that just makes you chirpy? We spent the past weekend in Busan at the beach, celebrated Mr. B’s birthday in style, hopped aboard the never-ending Busan city tour bus, feasted on some rather delicious celebratory foods and adult beverages. Relaxation all around. (Minus our amature booking the wrong hotel location snafu..oops). Check out that beach crowd, looks like we weren’t the only ones with the idea to escape to a sandy oasis for the weekend.

Cheers to sandy toes, salty hair and smiles all around!

(Pardon my unintentional gang signs, I was caught off guard with the kimchi fingers)

(Scary bus)

(We learned whipped cream potatoes literally is whipped cream…who would have thought)

(AKA Creeper Mode)

We’d love to hear from you, any fun summer adventures planned?

  1. It’s weird to see the people all covered up on the beach 🙂 Happy Belated Birthday, Larry!

  2. Hello! What a sight at the beach >< more congested than the malls? Could I ask regarding currency exchange? R there any money changers in seoul with better rates that u can recommend?

    1. Hi Trina! Yes, it was a holiday weekend so everyone had the same thoughts on heading to the beach for the weekend. There are tons of exchanges all over Seoul and almost all touristy areas such as the marketplaces, etc. they are safe and honest so you won’t have to worry. Please feel free to ask anything your curious about. When are you coming to Korea?

    1. People are afraid of the sun in Korea, lol. Unfortunatly, as I get older, I guess I understand more and more why. It’s quite a culture shock to go to the beach in Korea vs. other countries.

  3. Such great photos – felt like I was there – wondering what that tower high iced dessert (?) is and did the trash can really say “Pet” on one side?!?!?
Beach looked so inviting – although you were definitely not alone!

    1. Thank you! You were there in spirit with us! HAHA… did you like that “pet” trashcan… I think it was lost in translation, what do you think?
